Indira Gandhi Memorial Library (IGML) was established in 1975. since its inception, it has successfully aided students in their pursuit of knowledge by providing access to a diverse collection of books, journal & periodicals under one roof.
The library has an impressive collection which includes 2, 42,000 volumes of boos, 750 current periodicals, dissertations & several CD-ROM and multi-media products. It subscribes to over 18, 000 e-journals like J-Stor, Ebscohost etc.
All the in-house library operations and services are fully computerized. It was the first library in Indian academic world to provide OPAC computer terminals to users with network across the campus-wide LAN.
The library also has a separate reading room which is kept open round the clock for the benefit of the students.
A small collection of SC/ST books and other important text books is kept in a book bank to guide students.
